ASCO volunteers provide leadership and insight to the Society’s activities and projects, and every volunteer plays a significant role in helping us continue to deliver on our mission of conquering cancer and promoting the highest quality patient care. Your skills, passion, and varied perspectives are needed to continue to build an organization that is advanced by energetic and innovative volunteer leaders. The Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (FASCO) distinction recognizes and rewards ASCO members for their extraordinary volunteer service, dedication, and commitment to ASCO. ASCO members earn points toward the distinction by volunteering with ASCO and the Conquer Cancer Foundation.
FASCO recipients are inducted each year at the ASCO Annual Meeting. As of the 2015 Annual Meeting, 242 extraordinary volunteers have been inducted into the FASCO program.
